Ten Hag to think carefully before pulling Roma football to hunt for Manchester United.
Tam McManus has warned Manchester United they will have to think twice about signing Tammy Abraham back to the Premier League in the summer following the allegations interest.
Earlier this month it was reported that the former Chelsea striker was one of United’s targets in the summer market. Among the list of top scorers are Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen and Benjamin Dzesco.
However, McManus gave his personal opinion via Football Insider believes that Erik Ten Hag should look for a better striker than Abraham, arguing that
“I don’t know much about the news that came out. But I’m not sure if he can help Manchester United or not. I think he’s definitely better than Wut Wakehorse and this is what United need at this time. But he wasn’t the right choice for the team. The club needs a striker who can score 25 goals a season.”
“He did well with Roma and won the Europa Conference League last year in Italy. And I think he’s quite successful. But he didn’t play regularly while at Chelsea and was loaned out twice. And had a good time at Aston Villa, but it’s not known if he will be the man to bring Manchester United back to greatness. So they should look for a striker with higher potential.”
